OLD BAGS
As we age, our bodies change. Those changes are not always predictable or desired. And then we live in a world where others look at us and our minds grapple with perceptions, ours and others. It can be a mess. Yet, we can adapt and adjust. This piece balances the right amount of hope with angst.
OLD BAGS is a site-specific multi-media installation that explores the contemporary American female midlife experience through digital image, audio and video. The intention is to use art and technology to confront conventional values.
